Lowri Beck raise £550 for Derian House
Lowri Beck managed to raise £550 for Derian House in December 2007 by carrying out a range of activities, which included a Christmas card collection fund (instead of having everyone in the office buy Christmas cards for each other!). We all teamed up together to have quizzes and competitions to raise this amount, and Bob Vernon helped round up the remainder of the fund as a personal donation to the charity fundraising event.
The Charity Comittee (pictured on left) paid a visit to Derian House to present a cheque. Sarah White of Derian House kindly showed the Charity Comittee around the building and discussed the day-to-day process for taking care of the children.
Derian House Children’s Hospice provide the best possible medical care, and as much fun and laughter, for terminally ill children and support these children’s parents by providing any support they can in any way to help take care of the children.
