Lowri Beck receive ISO14001 accreditation
In July this year we achieved ISO14001 certification in recognition of our efforts with regards decreasing the effect we have on the environment. This has lead to a number of initiatives being introduced or re-enforced to ensure we continue to increase our efforts in this area.
We’re helping decrease our effects by continuing to cut down the paper work we send out. Stopping timesheets, enforcing the need for our operators to work on HHTs and recycling paper at Head Office are all steps we have needed to take to ensure that we don’t unnecessarily harm the environment. Also, acts such as heeding advice on how to drive in a more efficient way and reducing the number of unnecessary journeys for meetings by holding telephone conferences can decrease the negative effect we have on the environment quite considerably.
