Accreditations
In 2003 the Lowri Beck Group were awarded ISO 9001:2000 and BS7799-2.
During 2011 the Lowri Beck Group were reapproved for ISO 9001:2008 for our approved Quality Administration Systems and ISO 27001:2005 for our approved Information Security Management Systems.
In 2006 the Lowri Beck Group were awarded ISO14001 for our approved Environmental Management Systems.
During 2009, the year saw the Lowri Beck Group of companies achieve a further accreditation BS25999-2:2007 for our approved Business Continuity Management Systems. This key accreditation ensures that we can continue to provide our customers the very best quality service in the event where there is a business continuity situation.
During 2011, the Lowri Beck Group achieved the OHSAS 18001:2007 accreditation. The certification ensures that each of our companies promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows our organisation to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
All the Lowri Beck Accreditation Assessments have been provided by Certified Quality Systems Limited. Lowri Beck underwent CQS auditing for all certfications during 2011.
PRINCE2 Project Management
Between 2005 and 2009, we have been continually investing in PRINCE2 Project Management training for our key Head Office and Field staff. This structured method for project management has enabled us to effect control over our internal and external projects, and provides confidence in our ability to manage major IT implementation programmes.
We participate in the UVDB Verify Scheme and our systems are audited by Achilles on a regular basis. You can find us on the Achilles website if you are a Buyer.
We are accredited by Elexon for NHH MOP, NHH DC and NHH DA Services in the non-half hourly electricity industry. We have been approved to supply these services since late 2007. In line with our MOP Services, Lowri Beck adhere to the guidelines and duties outlined by MOCOPA. The Meter Operation Code of Practice Agreement sets out the obligations and compliance for best practice in metering.
