Lowri Beck sponsors Bob’s Brewery at Oktoberfest 11
On Thursday 11th October Lowri Beck sponsored a cask ale called “Chardonnayle” ® at the Oktoberfest Beer festival. It was Hosted by the Warrington Rotary. Oktoberfest is now in its 11th year of running and as a result Lowri Beck decided that it would be a good idea to sponsor a beer in the name of charity. The event supported local charities in the area such as Families United and Sea Cadets to name but a few... The final figure for the monies raised have not been released yet but it has initally been suspected that they raised in excess of £16,000. The event was said to have had record attendance this year.
Lowri Beck attended the festival initally on Thursday 11th October to be thanked by the organisers for their sponsorship and of course - try the beer! Officially a few more attended from Lowri Beck on Friday 12th October. The evening was very enjoyable, especially so by the wide selection of beers and the live music! All in all it was a lovely evening.
The choice of our beer Chardonnayle® originates from Bob’s Brewery located in Ossett and is described as a complex & stylish strong pale ale with hints of lemongrass & fruits like a Chardonnay wine, using Willamette hops for aroma, just 5.1%. A little bit of fun for Lowri Beck as funny enough our Managing Director is called Bob Vernon!
